Accordingly, as of noon of the same day, the whole province recorded more than 16,742 hectares of crops affected, of which up to 15,892 hectares of summer-autumn rice were just sown and in the development stage. In addition, there were other localities such as Que Son, Nui Thanh, Dien Ban, Hoi An and Tam Ky.
Notably, in Dai Loc district, heavy rains caused more than 725 households in Dai Hung, Dai Lanh, Dai Son and Dai Hong communes to be flooded under 1 meter. Some irrigation pumping stations were deeply flooded, hindering drainage work for production. In particular, Phu Loc pontoon bridge (Dai An commune) was swept away by floodwaters, and the road connecting village 9 and village 10 (Dai Cuong commune) was cut off.

The construction unit is trying to clear the road in one direction during the day. In Tay Giang district, the landslide threatened two households, forcing local authorities to urgently evacuate people and property.
In addition, in Ch'Om commune (Tay Giang), the road from Cha'noc village to the new ground of Atu I village was eroded at 10 points, of which 4 were particularly serious. Authorities evacuated 10 households from the dangerous area.

According to the Quang Nam Province Hydrometeorological Station, water levels on major rivers such as Vu Gia and Thu Bon are still high. In Ai Nghia alone, the Vu Gia River is approaching alert level II. In the next 12-24 hours, rain may continue with average amounts of 30-70mm, and the risk of flash floods and landslides remains high in many areas.
In this situation, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province has issued an urgent document on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. Localities are required to visit and encourage affected families; quickly review the damage, and proactively provide resources to overcome the situation before June 20. In case of exceeding capacity, a specific report must be made so that the province can provide support.
