Quang Nam announces administrative reform index in 2024

Accordingly, the average administrative reform index of the group of departments and branches in 2024 reached 91.95%; leading the ranking is the Department of Transport with an index of 96.51%, classified as good; ranked last is the Department of Health with an index of 80.74%.

Also ranked as good in this group are the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Inspectorate, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Justice and the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks.

In the block of provincial vertical agencies, the average PAR index in 2024 is 97.86%; the leading unit is the Provincial Police with an index of 98.17% and 4 units are classified as good including the Provincial State Treasury, Tax Department, Customs Department, and Provincial Social Insurance.

In the group of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities, the average PAR index is 87.7%. Hoi An City leads in the plains, Bac Tra My district leads in the mountainous areas. Duy Xuyen district ranks last in the plains with an index of 86.71% and Nong Son district ranks last in the mountainous areas with an index of 71.33%.

The 2024 administrative reform index is the basis for evaluating and classifying leaders and task completion results of agencies, units and localities.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to be responsible for providing a report on the specific assessment results of each criterion for the PAR Index in 2024 so that agencies, units, and localities can study and find solutions to overcome the remaining limitations, continue to improve and enhance the index in the following years.
