Responding to the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival in 2024 with the slogan "Cinema: Creativity - Take Off", on the morning of November 7, the Vietnam Film Institute organized the Exhibition "Vietnam's UNESCO-recognized heritages - Experience through cinema footage".

Attending the event were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, Head of the Film Festival Steering Committee; Mr. Vi Kien Thanh, Director of the Department of Cinema; Ms. Le Thi Ha - Director of the Vietnam Film Institute; Mr. Do Lenh Hung Tu, Chairman of the Vietnam Cinema Association, along with delegates attending the Hanoi International Film Festival and many film and photography lovers.

"Vietnam, with its rich culture and heroic history, along with unique and impressive natural landscapes, possesses a system of historical and cultural relics and unique landscapes, many of which have been recognized by UNESCO as world heritage sites. This is an advantage for developing tourism - a smokeless industry and an attractive resource for filmmakers" - Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong shared.

The exhibition introduces 120 images from films made by domestic and foreign filmmakers and 40 photos of Vietnam's UNESCO-recognized Heritages.

The Organizing Committee of the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival hopes that the beauty of Vietnam's heritages introduced through the exhibition will meet the cultural enjoyment needs of the public and international friends attending the Film Festival, while contributing to promoting Vietnam's tourism , attracting international filmmakers, and promoting Vietnamese cinema to be creative and take off.

The 7th Hanoi International Film Festival is a meaningful cinema event, an opportunity to introduce and honor outstanding international and Vietnamese cinema works to domestic and foreign cinema lovers. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the country's major holidays in 2024 and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital - the City for Peace, the Creative City in the field of Design by UNESCO.
