Soldiers from Hong Lac give gifts at the military-civilian cultural festival

On the morning of December 12, Thanh Ha district organized the 2024 military-civilian cultural festival in Hong Lac commune. Through two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism and in the construction and protection of the Fatherland, the whole commune had 160 martyrs, 82 wounded soldiers, 86 sick soldiers, and 15 heroic Vietnamese mothers. In 1996, Hong Lac commune was honored to be awarded the noble title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" by the State in the resistance war against French colonialism.
Up to now, the whole commune militia force has 137 comrades. The recruitment work is carried out seriously, every year delivering enough soldiers according to the quota. The commune People's Committee always ensures timely and sufficient budget for the commune's defense activities, ensuring good logistics and technical work for combat readiness tasks.
