The meeting focused on reviewing the implementation results of the People's Council's Resolutions in the first half of 2025 to objectively assess the achievements, shortcomings, limitations and causes, as a basis for orienting the goals and targets for socio -economic development, maintaining national defense and security, and improving people's lives for new wards established from July 1, 2025.
In the first 6 months of 2025, Hong Bang district has completed all tasks related to socio-economic development, national defense and security. 6/13 targets reached 100% of the annual plan, 4/13 targets reached more than 50% of the plan, 3/13 targets are continuing to be implemented. The economy in the district has clearly developed. Notably, non-state tax collection reached 65% of the annual plan, up 24% over the same period. Management of planning, construction order, traffic safety and order, environmental sanitation, and civilized urban lifestyle were implemented synchronously and drastically. Social security was ensured, the district maintained no poor households. The education sector continued to affirm the comprehensive quality of education at all levels. Administrative reform associated with digital transformation and network security were focused on and effectively implemented. Political security and social order and safety continue to be maintained.
To ensure the effective operation of the new ward operating model officially operating from July 1, 2025, the district focuses on the transition, handover and organizational stabilization; especially paying attention to handing over projects, works in progress, funding sources, contracts, public assets and administrative records related to citizens, organizations and businesses in the area; promptly receiving and handling administrative procedures of individuals and organizations through the ward-level one-stop department; avoiding interruptions or congestion; maintaining political security and social order and safety.
Over the past 4 years, with the support and trust of voters and people, the People's Council of Hong Bang district has continuously innovated its working methods, improved the quality of its meetings, strengthened its supervision and issued many important resolutions directly related to urban development, people's lives and ensuring social security.
These positive results are a testament to the spirit of solidarity, dedication and responsibility of each delegate and each group of People's Council delegates; at the same time, they are the result of close and effective coordination between the People's Council and Party committees, authorities, agencies, units and wards in the district./.
