According to the Agreement, the two sides will leverage their strengths in infrastructure, logistics, distribution networks and production capacity to cooperate in the fields of trade, services and chemicals. This cooperation model is expected to create synergy values, contributing to improving operational efficiency and flexibly adapting to trends in energy transition, circular economy and digital transformation.

The first step in the cooperation program is to launch the diesel exhaust cleaning solution product – DEF/Phu My Xanh – to the market. With the main ingredient being urea, the product is capable of processing NOx gas into Nitrogen gas and water vapor, contributing to reducing environmental pollution. PVFCCo – Phu My is currently one of the largest urea manufacturers in Vietnam, while PVOIL owns a distribution system of more than 900 stores and 30 warehouses nationwide, ensuring that products are quickly delivered to consumers.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVFCCo – Phu My, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, expects that the DEF/Phu My Xanh product will be the foundation for more extensive cooperation programs, aiming at green product lines such as green Hydrogen, green NH3... He also proposed to establish a working group to specifically implement the plan to bring to the market from 10,000 to 20,000 m³ of DEF per year.

On PVOIL's side, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Chairman of the Board of Directors, assessed that the current market demand could be up to 30,000 m³ DEF/year and expressed his desire to expand cooperation in NH3 storage, as well as approach transportation customers of PVFCCo - Phu My.
The deployment of DEF/Phu My Xanh products is not only a substantial step in realizing the commitment to green development, but also demonstrates the pioneering role of the two enterprises in connecting value chains and building a sustainable industrial ecosystem.
