PNJ participates in the National Achievement Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day

(Dan Tri) - At the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) is a piece in the picture of National Startup - a place to honor national brands and leading enterprises.

The exhibition of national achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day will take place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi ). The exhibition with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is a key activity in the celebration of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

As one of the few representatives of the jewelry retail industry participating in the exhibition, the booth of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) is located in the exhibition area with the theme of Entrepreneurship and National Construction. According to the organizers, this is where national brands and leading enterprises with typical and pioneering products and services are present, representing regional and international initiatives and inventions.

PNJ is present at the Exhibition 80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness from August 28 to September 5, at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi.

At the exhibition, PNJ will display many outstanding collections such as Betel and Areca, Jade Leaves and Golden Branches, Golden Milestones, Royal Snake, Strongly Reaching Out… The products all incorporate historical and cultural elements to honor traditional values ​​as well as national pride.

Journey "Growing with the country"

After 37 years of establishment and development, PNJ has gradually gone beyond the framework of a local enterprise to become a national brand reaching international level, standing out in the retail sector.

From a gold and silver trading store established in 1988 in a context where the jewelry industry had not yet formed a proper market, PNJ has steadily grown thanks to pioneering investment in production technology, proactively expanding the market and diversifying its product portfolio.

The decision to equitize in 2004 was a turning point, helping PNJ "transform" from a state-owned enterprise to a private company for more flexible operations. Thanks to that, the company is one of the enterprises that laid the foundation for the modern jewelry industry in Vietnam.

2018 witnessed an important milestone for PNJ when appointing Mr. Le Tri Thong as General Director, marking the generational transition and implementing the strategic repositioning goal. From here, PNJ gradually transformed its business model from a traditional manufacturer to a leading retail system in the country and is gradually reaching the world .

The new strategy has been effective in many aspects, from business to management. PNJ has achieved a profit of thousands of billions since 2019 and has maintained it until now. At its peak, last year the company recorded revenue of VND 37,823 billion and after-tax profit of VND 2,113 billion, a record in its history of operations, paying more than VND 2,100 billion to the state budget, maintaining its leading position in the retail sector.

To date, PNJ is listed on the stock market with a market capitalization of nearly 1.1 billion USD. The company's brand value has increased 10 times within a decade, to 480 million USD.

Not only creating economic value, PNJ has also brought positive impacts to society over the past 37 years. The company comprehensively and harmoniously applies three pillars in its sustainable development strategy: environmental protection (Environment), social responsibility (Social), and application of advanced governance standards (Governance).
