Special vehicles for fighting terrorism practice for the first time in parade

The Army and Police forces today conducted their third combined training to prepare for the parade and marching mission in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

This morning, at the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi), the Central Steering Committee to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country in 3 years (2023-2025) led by Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and encouraged the forces participating in the parade to serve the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Today is also the third combined training session of the Army and Police forces along with weapons and equipment participating in the parade.

There are 6 forces participating in the parade, including: traditional torch bearer and fire guard; ceremonial artillery force; air force flying salute; parade force; background force; and formation and letter formation force.

Today's training session consists of two parts: performing Party and State rituals and ceremonies and marching.

Although the general training session took place in hot weather, all forces performed their tasks with high spirits, solemn demeanor, proud spirit, and strong, precise, decisive, and unified movements.

The parade will feature 16,000 officers and soldiers from the Army and Police units, along with modern weapons and equipment. Many of these products are researched and manufactured by the Vietnamese defense industry, such as the Truong Son missile complex, XCB-01 infantry fighting vehicle, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), radars, etc.

In the 18 standing blocks and 43 walking blocks, there are 7 female Army blocks and 2 female Police blocks (Military Band, Military Medical Officer, Vietnam Peacekeeper , Special Forces Soldiers, Information Soldiers, Vietnam Ethnic Militia, Southern Guerrillas, Traffic Police Officers, Special Police).

Encouraging and presenting gifts to the blocs, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that this was the result of the efforts of all forces, including soldiers and officers of the People's Army, People's Police; and teams working in leadership, command, security, logistics, engineering, military medicine, and information and propaganda.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia asked the forces participating in the parade to try to do better and strive to excellently fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people, contributing to glorifying the glorious tradition of the heroic People's Army and People's Public Security.

Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai and Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan presented gifts and encouraged the forces.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia mentioned General Secretary To Lam's praise for the activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day, especially the parade in Ho Chi Minh City in April, which created a wave of patriotism and love for the nation, spreading to the young generation of Vietnam.

With that pride, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia hopes that the young generation, especially the forces directly participating in the parade, will continue to promote, have high determination, strong political will, improve the level, skills of command, regulations, skills, military techniques; agencies and units ensure the best weapons, equipment, techniques as well as take the best care of the health and life of the forces participating in the parade, to excellently complete the task...

“In 3 years with many activities to celebrate major holidays, with the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 as the pinnacle event, we must definitely spread more strongly, higher, further the wave of patriotism, love for the nation and pride of the Vietnamese people” - Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia requested leaders at all levels, commanders and forces working in security and logistics, especially the press, to continue to do better in propaganda work to spread more to international friends.

Following the walking blocks were military and police convoys moving closely and rhythmically, demonstrating high mobility and combat readiness.

Notably, the special anti-terrorism combat vehicles of the special police force appeared for the first time at the training session.

This special vehicle is equipped with bulletproof armor and advanced combat vehicles, has high mobility on all terrains, and can meet the missions of anti-terrorism, crime suppression, and hostage rescue.
