Quang Phu Ward does not accept flowers to celebrate the opening of the school year, calling for educational support for the 2025-2026 school year

On August 13, the People's Committee of Quang Phu Ward issued a document in response to activities to celebrate the opening of the new school year. Accordingly, the People's Committee of the Ward agreed in principle that kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in the area will not accept congratulatory flowers on the occasion of the opening of the school year.

Instead, the Ward People's Committee sent an open letter to agencies, units, businesses, organizations, and individuals, calling for attention to the education cause in many forms.

Specifically, donating additional books to school libraries; granting scholarships, supporting means and learning materials for poor students and students in difficult circumstances; sponsoring constructions and items serving entertainment and sports for students.

In addition, the Ward People's Committee called on organizations and individuals to accompany the school in programs to care for health, nutrition and school safety.

Quang Phu Ward was established on the basis of merging An Phu Ward, Tam Thanh Commune and Tam Phu Commune. The Ward currently has 9 preschool, primary and secondary schools with nearly 5,000 students.
