World class travel services

According to experts and tourism businesses, tourists can now enjoy world-class tourism services in Phu Quoc. Among them are a series of world-leading hotel management brands such as Accor, JW Marriott, Meliá, Regent, InterContinental, Wyndham, Emerald Bay, La Festa, Curio Collection by Hilton, The Luxury Collection, Ritz Carlton Reserve... In addition, corporations such as Sun Group , Vingroup, MIK Group, CEO Group... have invested in a series of resort projects here, turning the pearl island into a new "all-inclusive" destination in the world.

In particular, at the end of 2024, Sun Group signed a cooperation agreement with Accor & Ennismore to bring the world's most luxurious all-inclusive resort brand Rixos to Phu Quoc. Rixos is a high-end all-inclusive hotel brand with 45 facilities in Turkey, Egypt, UAE, Central Asian countries, Gulf countries... At Rixos Phu Quoc, visitors not only enjoy luxurious services but also immerse themselves in a vibrant art space. Coming here, visitors can watch the romantic sunset on the pristine beach and enjoy unique experiences in the Sun Paradise Land ecosystem such as exploring Sunset town, taking the world's longest over-sea cable car, playing at Aquatopia water park or enjoying world-class art shows combined with watching brilliant fireworks displays 365 days a year...

Besides Rixos, which is considered a representative of innovation and comprehensiveness, another brand, Ritz Carlton Reserve, is more inclined towards the element of quintessence and uniqueness. The service standards of this brand are extremely strict, so much so that there are only 6 Ritz Carlton Reserve resorts in the world and Ritz Carlton Reserve Phu Quoc is the 7th point of this brand.

Not only that, The Luxury Collection - a super luxury brand of Marriott International is also being deployed in Hon Thom. This is considered the "backbone" of the Aspira Tower, with a total investment of 13,000 billion VND. When launched, The Luxury Collection owns 305 luxury rooms, with many amenities such as a wave pool, a large 900m2 conference room, a rooftop bar, a high-class spa and a beautiful sunset view that will satisfy even the most demanding guests. The Luxury Collection is not only a resort but also a work of art telling the story of Phu Quoc, vivid and charming.

Attracting high-end customers

According to Accor Luxury & Lifestyle, Sun Group builds a comprehensive ecosystem including accommodation, entertainment and many unique experiences. This is completely consistent with the value Accor Luxury & Lifestyle brings to visitors - a comprehensively upgraded experience from rooms, restaurants to great activities and experiences. All contribute to creating unforgettable memories for visitors.

“The arrival of Rixos, Ritz Carlton Reserve, and The Luxury Collection to Phu Quoc is expected to help the pearl island attract high-end guests with high spending ability and long-term stays, especially business guests who have limited time and find it difficult to schedule a detailed itinerary for a trip in the near future,” said Mr. Pham Cong Son - General Manager of high-end hotels in Phu Quoc.

KKday CEO, Ms. Weichun Liu shared that she came to Phu Quoc in 2022 and was impressed with the sea-crossing cable car project. This time she returned, she was even more surprised because this place has almost completely changed with a comprehensive high-class tourism ecosystem, from high-class hotels, performances, night markets... All easily conquer even the most demanding tourists in the world.

However, tourism experts say that to turn Phu Quoc from a regional destination into a global one, the pearl island needs a stronger marketing strategy to reach new markets. “Phu Quoc needs to develop its own identity, focusing on natural elements, culture and the friendliness of its people. In addition, the locality needs to position itself as a green, clean and sustainable island brand, not only to attract nature-loving tourists but also to build a long-term brand. In particular, visa policies need to be expanded to increase attractiveness, especially potential markets, which are also factors that the pearl island and the tourism industry need to consider,” said Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Duy Nhat Indochina Travel Company.

According to the Department of Tourism, Phu Quoc has become a destination for most domestic and foreign tourists. In 2024, the island will welcome nearly 6 million visitors, including nearly 1 million international visitors, an increase of 73.4% compared to 2023. In 2024, Phu Quoc will have more than 4,000 international flights, an increase of 175% compared to 2023. In 2025, Phu Quoc aims to welcome 7 million visitors, including 1 million international visitors...

“Regarding visa policy, the province has repeatedly proposed to central ministries and branches to exempt visas for international tourists to Phu Quoc from 30 days to 180 days. In addition, we are studying and recommending that international tourists to Phu Quoc be allowed to visit some other tourist destinations in the province to attract and take advantage of more visa policies,” said Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism Nguyen Thanh Quoc.
