Previously, on the afternoon of June 6, when a group of reporters from Hanoi Radio and Television deployed cameras to record people buying rechargeable fans during the peak of the heat in front of an electric fan store on Dong Cac Street, a subject approached and asked them not to film or take photos.

Despite being told that the work area was underground, in a place where there were no signs prohibiting filming or taking photos, this subject still shouted loudly, grabbed the collar, and kicked the TTC reporter ( Hanoi Radio and Television Station ) to the ground. Next, another subject standing outside also rushed in to assault the TTC reporter. When the reporter was lying on the street, these two subjects continued to be aggressive, despite everyone's attempts to stop them.

After the incident, a group of reporters from Hanoi Radio and Television went to the O Cho Dua Police Station to report the incident and took the TTC reporter to the hospital for emergency treatment due to multiple injuries.

Upon receiving the report, the Cho Dua Ward Police took professional measures and brought the suspect who assaulted the reporter to the headquarters for questioning. After escaping, the suspect also came to the Cho Dua Ward Police headquarters to present himself.

Currently, Dong Da District Police have received the two subjects who assaulted the reporter to consolidate their records and handle them according to regulations. The identities of the two subjects have not been announced by the police.
