The Women's Union of Vo Tren hamlet, Nhan Nghia commune (Lac Son) actively participates in cultural and artistic activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and building cultural life in residential areas.

Hoa Binh province has 9 districts, 1 city with 151 communes, wards and towns; population of more than 850 thousand people, including 6 main ethnic groups (Muong, Kinh, Thai, Dao, Tay, Mong) living together, of which the Muong ethnic group accounts for over 63%. This is a land rich in historical traditions, national cultural identity, the cradle of "Hoa Binh Culture", and has great potential for developing agriculture, forestry, fishery and tourism services.

Comrade Quach Thi Kieu, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: In recent years, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has spread, penetrated deeply, mobilized the strength of the entire political system and the participation of all people, contributing to promoting economic development and building a healthy cultural environment. The movement has been promoted by Party committees and authorities at all levels, associated with the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", criteria and standards for building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, cultural families, cultural residential areas and concretized by conventions and residential area covenants.

In localities throughout the province, there are diverse models of activities such as: Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Club, Muong Gong Club in communes and towns; Youth Union with the model "Green Sunday"; Women's Union with the models "Safe village for women and children", "Women's association without relatives who violate the law and suffer from social evils", "Mobilizing women to save money to buy health insurance cards - for family health"... Many typical examples have been spread, such as the families: Mr. Vuong Sy Hai, Treo hamlet, Tu Son commune and Mr. Bui Van Lung, Ve hamlet, Dong Bac commune (Kim Boi); Mr. Bui Van Peo, Bum 1 hamlet, An Nghia commune ((Lac Son)... with practical actions such as donating land for roads and building new rural areas.

The movement to build culturally standard agencies, units and enterprises has also received strong support from all levels, sectors, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, contributing to the successful implementation of assigned tasks and the building of a civilized and modern office lifestyle. The movement is implemented through specific activities such as: implementing internal criteria and regulations well; maintaining clean and beautiful agencies and units; improving working conditions and environment; building a scientific working style, civilized and standard behavior.

In particular, the movement is also effectively integrated with major programs and campaigns such as: building the "For the Poor" Fund, the emulation movement "Good farmers in production and business"... National target programs, preferential credit policies and social security are implemented synchronously, creating conditions for the movement to promote practical effects in social life.

According to the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, through practical implementation, the movement has produced many typical examples with strong political will, ethics, healthy lifestyle, overcoming difficulties to escape poverty, solidarity and sharing in the community. The movement's creative approach has had a positive impact on other movements and campaigns in the locality. In addition to typical individuals in preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of ethnic groups, many collectives and organizations are also typical examples in emulation movements such as: "Implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals", "Farmers compete in good production and business", "Women help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty", "Youth with traffic culture"...

Through the movements, the potential of the people has been promoted and more and more examples of good people, good deeds, and advanced models have appeared. In 2024, the whole province will have 80% of agencies, units, and enterprises meeting cultural standards; 65.8% of residential areas will be recognized as cultural residential areas; 76.8% of households will be recognized as cultural families; 20% of communes, wards, and towns will be recognized as "Typical communes, wards, and towns".
