Deputy Prime Minister inspects preparations for high school graduation exam in Quang Ninh

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long also reminded localities not to be subjective and negligent in the face of hot weather and unusual situations that may occur during the high school graduation exam.

Ensuring absolute safety for students while preparing well for human resources, infrastructure, and organization methods for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam is the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long during his inspection of exam preparations in Quang Ninh province on June 25.

At the exam site of Hon Gai High School (Ha Long city), the working group inspected the facilities, exam rooms, exam storage areas, medical rooms, etc. and encouraged teachers and staff working to support the exam.

According to the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, the whole province has 19,930 candidates registered for the exam, an increase of nearly 2,000 candidates compared to last year. The province organized 1 Examination Council, arranged 40 examination sites with 849 examination rooms (an increase of 3 examination sites compared to 2024) located ateducational institutions that meet the requirements, are convenient for candidates and ensure safety for the organization.

Localities have plans to arrange backup exam sites; mobilize about 3,500 people from the education, police, health and other agencies to participate in the Provincial Exam Steering Committee, Exam Council, etc.

Quang Ninh has fully prepared human resources, facilities, and equipment for the exam. Given the locality’s specificity, the locality has arranged for police to transport exam papers to island areas, and has strengthened control to prevent cheating using high technology…

Exam sites are arranged with lunch spots for candidates living far away, and have plans to support candidates in remote areas in case of floods.

Vice Chairwoman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hanh informed that the locality plans to mobilize about 3,500 people from the education, police, health and other relevant agencies to participate, including 3,048 officials, teachers, and employees of the sector and coordinating agencies to perform duties at 40 examination sites.

At the commune level, vehicles and human resources are arranged. If it rains, there are shared cars. If candidates need to share cars to ensure safety to the exam location, they are ready to meet the needs.

The province also encourages and motivates all truck drivers transporting soil and rock to stop traffic during the time candidates arrive at and leave the exam site to ensure the safest travel conditions for candidates.

Quang Ninh proposes that the Government, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Public Security, and central ministries and branches continue to strengthen direction, guidance, technical support, and enhance professional measures to promptly detect and prevent high-tech devices and sophisticatedly disguised electronic devices that candidates can exploit to cheat on exams (recording, distributing exam questions, etc.); have a support mechanism for equipment, security control technology, and techniques to prevent exam cheating, suitable to local conditions, especially mountainous and island areas, etc.

Appreciating the preparations of Quang Ninh province, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long reminded the locality not to be subjective and negligent in the face of hot weather and unusual situations that may occur.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested relevant sectors to coordinate well in organizing the exam, paying special attention to ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention, storm and flood prevention, power supply, disease prevention, medical care, hygiene, food safety, etc.

In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister encouraged teachers, exam invigilators, and those who were directly with the students in each exam room and each exam table to motivate them to maximize their abilities and have an exam of the highest quality and ensure the exam takes place safely and with quality assurance.
