TPO - Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh requested to ensure the quality, progress and all preparations for the exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day must be basically completed before August 15, 2025. It is expected that on August 20, 2025, the Steering Committee will inspect and review before the general rehearsal of the opening of the exhibition.
The Government Office has just announced the conclusion of the meeting of the Exhibition Steering Committee on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.
Accordingly, the Deputy Prime Minister concluded that the exhibition is an important and key event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The exhibition must be organized solemnly, in accordance with the policies of the Party and State, with a scale, stature and significance commensurate with the proud 80-year journey of the country, with the appeal and attraction of a large number of people and international friends, while ensuring practicality, safety and economy.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested that ministries, branches, central agencies, People's Committees of provinces and cities urgently focus on implementing assigned tasks in the spirit of "6 clear: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results"; proactively direct the handling of assigned tasks, difficulties and problems (if any) according to their authority, promptly report to competent authorities for issues arising beyond their authority; focus on reviewing, checking, and perfecting the content of the exhibition outline and take full responsibility for the content, images, information, documents, and artifacts displayed in the space of the ministry, branch, agency, or locality under their charge.
At the same time, urgently adjust and complete the design plan, prepare for production, construction and display, and send the completed design plan back to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to synthesize, build the Exhibition on a digital platform, and complete the overall design of the Exhibition.
Localities organizing fairs and displaying products of enterprises need to ensure that enterprises operate legally and have prestige in the field of production and business; products and services are representative and typical of the industry and locality; meet standards on quality, food hygiene and safety (for consumer products); prioritize enterprises with products certified by OCOP, VietGAP, ISO... and have positive contributions to the community, society and environment.
In addition, speed up the implementation of assigned tasks and tasks in accordance with the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Ministers, the Exhibition Steering Committee and approved projects, programs and plans, ensuring the quality, progress and all preparations for the Exhibition must be basically completed before August 15, 2025. It is expected that on August 20, 2025, the Steering Committee will inspect and review before the general rehearsal for the opening of the Exhibition.
Regarding the overall design, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism focuses on directing, directly working, and closely coordinating with the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company and international consulting units to urgently build and complete the overall design of the Exhibition space (including the interior and exterior spaces of the Exhibition display area) to ensure quality, progress, meet the requirements and have full legal basis according to the law. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for appraising and approving the overall design according to its authority.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministries of Finance, Industry and Trade, Construction, National Defense, Public Security, and Foreign Affairs, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to proactively direct and coordinate the participation of organizations, enterprises, and units under their management or under their management. Proactively coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Joint Stock Companies and international consulting units to support and facilitate units and enterprises in the registration process, allocate reasonable space, and provide design consultation to ensure harmony in the overall exhibition space.
The above ministries are also responsible for reviewing and verifying the legality, representativeness and exemplary nature of the enterprises introduced to participate in the Exhibition; carefully reviewing the display content of the participating enterprises and units, ensuring the copyright, accuracy and completeness of the information, images, documents and exhibits on display.
