The project's requirement is to create a source of high-quality sea crabs for the farming models of soft-shell crabs, soft-shell crabs and soft-shell crabs and to transfer the process of producing disease-free crab seeds.
The first project is to create a source of high-quality sea crab (Scylla paramamosain) for the farming models of soft-shell crab, soft-shell crab and roe crab in Ca Mau province. The general goal of the project is to create a source of high-quality sea crab raw materials for high-tech crab farming models, contributing to the sustainable development of the sea crab industry in Ca Mau province.
The specific objectives are to research and improve the quality of crab seeds; produce high-quality, disease-free crab seeds. Transfer production technology to crab seed production farms in Ca Mau province. Experiment with a semi-intensive crab farming model to create raw materials for the farming of soft-shell crabs, soft-shell crabs, and soft-shell crabs in Ca Mau province. Raise crabs at a density of 7 crabs/m2 in 06 households in Ca Mau province, harvest when the crabs reach a weight of 50-100gr/crab for soft-shell crab farming, 130-200gr/crab for soft-shell crab farming, and over 300gr/crab for soft-shell crab farming.
The second project is to complete the process of extracting and fermenting seaweed to create natural biological products to supplement feed for black tiger shrimp farming in Ca Mau province. The general goal of the project is to effectively use locally available products to serve the development of the black tiger shrimp industry in Ca Mau province.
The specific objective is to build and develop a process for extracting and fermenting fresh seaweed at low cost and producing high quality products with antioxidant activity. Build and develop a process for using seaweed extract and fermentation products. Test the application of seaweed extract and fermentation products and organic fertilizers in the rearing and farming of improved extensive black tiger shrimp on a household scale.
The third project is the application of water circulation process in commercial brown fish farming with industrial feed. The general goal of the project is to apply science and technology in production, diversifying intensive farming objects suitable for the natural conditions of Ca Mau province.
The specific goal is to build an industrial brown fish farming model using recirculating technology with a stocking density of 5 fish/m2, a survival rate of about 70%, and a size of 2-3 fish/kg after 12 months of farming.
