Adjusting key indicators and being decisive in leadership, direction, and implementation of solutions for each industry and field is a key factor to reaching the finish line.
According to the assessment of the Provincial Party Committee, in the first 6 months of 2025, the province's socio-economic situation continued to develop, with economic growth reaching 7.14%. The indicators after integrating data from the two provinces of Dak Lak (old) and Phu Yen (old) all achieved a good growth rate.
Notably, the state budget revenue reached VND 8,718 billion (up 32% over the same period); the industrial production index increased by 10.02%; total revenue from tourism in the province reached VND 6,965 billion (up 59%, reaching 55% of the plan); total retail sales of goods and service revenue reached VND 92,742 billion (up 16%); total export turnover is estimated at 1,520 million USD (up 28.7% over the same period in 2024).

The province's investment attraction has improved, the number of newly established enterprises has increased. Social security work has achieved many positive results. As of July 10, 2025, the whole province has built and repaired 8,604/9,493 houses (reaching 90.64%), and handed over and put into use 6,217 houses.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai said that to achieve the growth target of 8% or more in 2025, the province adjusted socio-economic, defense and security targets to be closer to reality and requirements, all of which were higher than in 2024.
Specifically, the province strives to achieve economic growth of 8.64%; total social investment capital of 73,670 billion VND (up 25.8%; 45,027 billion VND in the last 6 months); total export turnover of 2,235 million USD (up 2.2%; 715 million USD in the last 6 months); total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue of 182,281 billion VND (up 9.4%; 89,540 billion VND in the last 6 months); total state budget revenue of 16,310 billion VND (up 15%; 7,592 billion VND in the last 6 months); construction of 2,800 social housing units; establishment of 3,688 new enterprises and 75 cooperatives (2,212 enterprises and 29 cooperatives in the last 6 months).

In addition, the province also adjusted social, environmental, national defense and security, and social order and safety indicators. In particular, by the end of 2025, the poverty rate will decrease by 3% or more; jobs will be created for about 55,800 people; the rate of schools meeting national standards will reach 59%; a total of 26/88 communes will meet new rural standards; the administrative reform index (Par Index) in 2025 will reach 88.5%...

Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung emphasized: The adjustments to socio-economic, defense and security targets have been unanimously approved by the Provincial Party Executive Committee. However, the large amount of work arising to serve the task of arranging administrative units, building and operating two-level local governments requires all levels, sectors and localities to make more efforts, urgently, resolutely and innovate more in implementing work, renewing growth drivers for investment, consumption and export, creating a clear acceleration to be able to complete the targets and tasks of the plan and tasks for 2025.
Identifying the key tasks of the sector, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Finance Tran Van Tan affirmed that the unit will preside over and coordinate the review and development of new growth scenarios for each quarter of the province, ensuring to make up for the missing part to achieve the growth target of 8% or more.
In particular, continue to focus on solutions to boost state budget collection; urge and accelerate the implementation of public investment projects; focus on immediately removing difficulties and obstacles so that non-budget investment projects including investment in infrastructure of industrial parks and clusters, renewable energy, golf courses, high-tech agricultural projects can complete investment procedures and implement.
At the same time, focus on implementing projects that have been identified as growth drivers, of which, in the East of the province, there are 3 projects with a total investment of over 5 billion USD, striving to start construction on August 19, 2025, including: investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Hoa Tam Industrial Park, Bai Goc Port Project and Hoa Phat Iron and Steel Complex Project in Hoa Tam Industrial Park. For the West of the province, focus on accelerating the progress of preparation work to call for investment in 8 energy projects according to the provincial planning, removing obstacles and putting into operation 4 wind power projects...

To resolve difficulties related to planning and land use plans, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Minh Huan said that the Department has approved land use plans of localities, and advised the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council a number of resolutions on calling for investment; develop land recovery plans and approve a number of land use plans recovered from agricultural and forestry farms; advise the Provincial People's Committee to lease land for 4 wind power projects including Cu Ne 1, Cu Ne 2, Krong Buk 1, Krong Buk 2.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van said that in order to achieve the targets and objectives for the last 6 months of 2025, it is necessary to bring in cash flow from the public sector, FDI sector and private sector to promote growth. To do so, departments and branches must further strengthen coordination to remove "bottlenecks" of investment projects; at the same time, review and advise the Provincial People's Committee on each specific project, report results weekly, and avoid slowing down or blocking investment cash flow.
