Developing Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital to reach international level

An important milestone took place on July 24 at Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital (Hung Yen province), which was the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between CHA International Hospital (Korea) and the Department of Health of Hung Yen province, Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital and Tien Hai General Hospital.

New Beginning

Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital commits to seriously implement the content of the Memorandum of Understanding, develop a specific plan to implement in accordance with the development orientation of the Hospital "Specialized, professional, modern on the foundation of traditional medicine imbued with national identity"; at the same time, in accordance with the current trend of researching and applying stem cells in Medicine to bring the ability to regenerate, recover, care for and treat diseases...

Mr. Kim Young Tak – Director of CHA International Hospital expressed his impression from the first time he set foot in Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital. From the welcoming and communication manner of the medical staff to the willingness to learn, listen and desire to cooperate of the hospital leaders. This is an important start, creating great motivation for the cooperation to become practical, effective and sustainable.

Through the visit and exchange, he highly appreciated the hospital's medical examination and treatment activities using traditional medicine combined with modern medicine. The hospital has a general clinic with more than 10 specialized examination tables to serve the initial medical examination and treatment for the people.

Patient service quality is focused on, hospital management is invested in with early use of electronic medical records, and digital transformation is implemented in many medical examination and treatment activities.

Mr. Kim Young Tak believes that in the future, Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital is fully capable of deploying support services for patients in need of medical examination and treatment in Korea.

The Department of Health believes and expects that in the coming time, the parties will have more opportunities for cooperation, many programs will be effectively implemented to establish a long-term journey, a journey to connect the medical future between the two countries, opening the door to integration, innovation and aiming for values for the community.

Witnessing the signing ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Nghiem, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province, highly appreciated this potential and promising cooperation opportunity. He emphasized the comprehensive development activities of Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital and the aspirations of the leadership team, the majority of medical staff and workers here to reach new heights with the consistent goal of improving the quality of medical examination and treatment; bringing people the best facilities; enjoying and accessing the world's advanced techniques.

He highly appreciated the cooperation between CHA International Hospital and other hospitals in Hung Yen province. The cooperation contributes to strengthening the relationship between Hung Yen province, the hospital and Korea. He affirmed that Hung Yen province is committed to creating all conditions for CHA International Hospital, Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital and Tien Hai General Hospital to effectively implement the signed contents. He also expressed his hope that the cooperation program will continue to be expanded to many other medical facilities in the province.

During the working program, the expert delegation from CHA Korea Hospital and Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital had a professional exchange on methods of diagnosis and treatment of cancers in women such as cervical cancer, breast cancer, gynecological diseases and issues related to reproductive health.

The Korean expert team shared modern medical advances in early cancer screening, as well as the application of high technology in women's health care. In addition to professional activities, the experts also participated in health consultations for patients.

The consultation content focuses on raising awareness in disease prevention, self-monitoring and early detection of abnormal signs, and introducing the method of combining modern medicine and traditional medicine in treatment.
