Promoting the role of collective economy, innovation and creativity

11th Provincial Cooperative Union Executive Committee Conference.

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of districts, cities and typical advanced collectives and individuals who are members of the Provincial Cooperative Union.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Cooperative Union (Cooperative) organized 5 conferences to promote the establishment of new cooperatives in Van Ho district; supported the establishment of 29 cooperatives. Surveyed, grasped the operational situation and inspected and evaluated the implementation of the Law on Cooperatives and the compliance with the provisions of the law of cooperatives and the Cooperative Union in Moc Chau town and Van Ho, Mai Son, Yen Chau, Thuan Chau, Quynh Nhai districts. Organized connections to participate in 3 conferences to promote trade of cooperative products in the provinces of Quang Ninh, Bac Lieu and Hanoi city.

Up to now, the whole province has 1,179 cooperatives and 6 cooperative unions. The activities of cooperatives contribute to promoting production and business in all fields, especially promoting agricultural and rural development; promoting high-tech agricultural production; maintaining the supply chain of safe agricultural and aquatic products, improving product quality to serve the domestic and export markets...

In the last 6 months of the year, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance continues to update information on the cooperative database software in the province. Coordinate in organizing training and human resource development for cooperatives; guide cooperatives in developing loan projects; appraise and lend capital to cooperatives from the Provincial Cooperative Development Support Fund. Implement trade promotion activities organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and the province; prepare well the conditions for human resources and facilities to implement Project No. 19-DA/TU dated May 19, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee on arranging and streamlining the Fatherland Front agencies, socio- political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State from the province to the grassroots level.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong suggested that the Provincial Cooperative Union continue to gather and unite its staff to advise, propose and apply policy mechanisms to assigned political tasks. Members continue to innovate, create and be effective in production and business, improving value and quality. From there, develop the collective economy, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded the Medal for the Development of Cooperatives to 5 individuals; the Provincial Cooperative Alliance awarded certificates of merit to 24 collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in building and developing the collective economy and provincial cooperatives in 2024.
