Traffic diversion for the Art Program "80 Years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness"

On September 1, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with relevant agencies and units to organize a special art program celebrating 80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness at My Dinh National Stadium (Tu Liem Ward); Hanoi City Police will direct traffic and organize directions for vehicles as follows:

1. Time for temporary ban and vehicle restriction: From 14:00 to 22:30 on September 1, 2025.

2. Routes temporarily banned and restricted for vehicles:

Temporarily ban trucks with a total designed weight of 1.5 tons or more, passenger cars with 16 seats or more (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, emergency response vehicles, vehicles with security badges, vehicles of the police force, the army and other priority vehicles as prescribed by law) and restrict other vehicles participating in traffic from operating on some routes: Le Quang Dao, Le Duc Tho, Tan My, Me Tri, Tran Huu Duc, Ham Nghi, Nguyen Co Thach, Do Xuan Hop, Nguyen Hoang, Pham Hung, Chau Van Liem, the right-hand side of Thang Long Avenue (from Pham Hung to Le Quang Dao), Ho Tung Mau, Cau Dien, Trinh Van Bo.

3. During the above time, Hanoi City Police organize directions for vehicles to detour, avoid the temporarily prohibited area, and restrict vehicles as follows: Vehicles from National Highway 32 to Thang Long Avenue: go through Provincial Road 70 or the elevated Ring Road III... and vice versa.

4. For other routes and vehicles, comply with the regulations on the operation of vehicles in Hanoi, issued under Decision No. 06/2013/QD-UBND dated January 25, 2013 of the Hanoi People's Committee (amended and supplemented by Decision No. 24/2020/QD-UBND dated October 2, 2020 of the Hanoi People's Committee) and other regulatory documents of competent authorities.

5. Request the Department of Construction to: Based on the traffic diversion notice, direct functional units to adjust the routes of passenger bus routes and limit operations on the routes according to the notice content.

6. Require all vehicles participating in traffic to voluntarily and strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and follow the instructions and traffic flow of the authorities.

Hanoi City Police Department announces to all traffic participants to know, comply, choose appropriate travel routes and support the police force in completing their tasks.
