On September 1, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports announced that the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to coordinate with the city's functional agencies and local authorities to organize and operate 15 "Guest Stations: A80 - Proud of Vietnam" to support people participating in the ceremony. These are the points to serve people when participating in events celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.
Guest Stations are located in central areas and parade streets. Participating in the operation are also businesses that wish to share, accompany and contribute to the country's important event.

The Guest Stations are friendly stops, helping people - especially the elderly, children, and the disabled... have a place to rest, receive drinking water, fans, and seats... to fully participate in the parades, marches, and outdoor activities. The stations will also act as prominent "connection points" so that people can easily locate and find useful information when they need help.
Besides its role in serving the people, the passenger station is also a cultural and media highlight that contributes to spreading the beautiful image of the capital through mass media products.

In particular, the name “Guest Station” is not only modern and familiar, but also evokes a memorable historical period, when Guest Stations were once familiar destinations, places to welcome officers and soldiers; and also places to serve the people in special circumstances. Thereby, the project “Guest Station: A80 - Proud of Vietnam” both preserves the traditional features and affirms the humanistic spirit and the city’s concern for the people.
