Traffic diversion when Phong Chau pontoon bridge temporarily stops operating

On June 11, due to the high and rapid flow of the Red River, Phong Chau pontoon bridge was temporarily suspended. Phu Tho Department of Construction announced the following traffic diversion:

Vehicles traveling through Tam Nong district to Lam Thao district, Viet Tri city (and vice versa) move according to the following plans:

Direction 1: From Tam Nong district, follow Highway 32 => Ho Chi Minh road (cross Ngoc Thap bridge) => follow Highway 2D to Lam Thao district, Viet Tri city and vice versa.

Direction 2: From Tam Nong district, follow Highway 32 => Ho Chi Minh road (cross Ngoc Thap bridge) => enter IC9 intersection/Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway (Phu Tho town) => follow Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway to Viet Tri city and vice versa.
