According to the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Quang Ngai province, in the period of 2025 - 2030, economic zones and industrial parks in Quang Ngai province aim to attract 3 - 4 billion USD in investment capital.

Industrial production value is expected to grow by 10-11% per year; trade and services by 4-5% per year; total budget revenue each year is expected to reach about 28,000 billion VND.

It is expected that Quang Ngai's economic zones and industrial parks will create about 20,000 more jobs, playing an important role in solving local labor problems. For the Bo Y international border gate alone, the plan is to achieve an export turnover of 1.8 billion USD. In the period of 2025-2030, Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks will implement a series of strategic goals of national and regional significance. The focus is on building Dung Quat Economic Zone into a highly competitive center for petrochemical refining, energy, heavy industry, logistics and services - tourism in the Southeast Asian region.
