According to Hanoi City Statistics, of the above, domestic revenue was 446.3 trillion VND, reaching 92.5% and increasing by 37.1%; revenue from crude oil was 1.8 trillion VND, reaching 42.7% and equal to 65%; revenue from import-export activities was 22.9 trillion VND, reaching 83.7% and increasing by 35%.
Some major revenue areas in domestic revenue in the past 8 months were: Revenue from the state-owned enterprise sector reached 55.8 trillion VND, reaching 69.3% of the annual estimate and equal to 97% compared to the same period in 2024; revenue from the foreign-invested enterprise sector reached 23.1 trillion VND, reaching 75.9% and increasing by 6.1%; revenue from the non-state enterprise sector reached 95.6 trillion VND, reaching 90.2% and increasing by 36.5%; personal income tax revenue reached 43.1 trillion VND, reaching 86.1% and increasing by 24.2%.

Land use fee collection was 79.1 trillion VND, exceeding 64.8% and 4.3 times higher than the same period last year; fees and charges collection was 16.5 trillion VND, reaching 70% and increasing 2.7%; registration fee collection was 5.4 trillion VND, reaching 74.5% and increasing 17.3%.
Also according to Hanoi City Statistics, local budget expenditure in the first 8 months of 2025 was 79.2 trillion VND, reaching 43.2% of the annual estimate and increasing by 33.5% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, regular expenditure was 44 trillion VND, reaching 60.2% and increasing by 30.8%; development investment expenditure was 35.2 trillion VND, reaching 34.4% and increasing by 37.1%.
