1.70m tall Foreign Trade University student becomes Miss Vietnam Student

(Dan Tri) - Trinh Huyen Mai - a student at Hanoi Foreign Trade University - won the highest position in the final night of "Miss Vietnamese Students 2023" on the evening of January 16.

Surpassing 38 contestants in the final night and more than 1,000 contestants registered for the contest, Trinh Huyen Mai - a student at Hanoi Foreign Trade University - won the highest title of Miss Vietnam Student 2023 .

The title of First Runner-up belonged to contestant Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong - a student of Hanoi Medical University. Second Runner-up was female student Duong Kim Thanh, from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. In addition, the contest awarded additional prizes such as the most voted female student on social networks, talented female student, female student volunteering for the community, student wearing the most beautiful Ao Dai, student speaking English. At the final night, the young people passed the Ao Dai, sports , evening gown competitions and the top 5 entered the behavioral round. Before that, they competed in English speaking and presented volunteer projects.

Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy - Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, Head of the Steering Committee of the contest - said that the contest aims to create a healthy playground for female students nationwide, organized since 2013. Thereby, Miss Vietnam Student 2023 honors the intellectual beauty, talent, confidence, and dynamism of female students in the integration period while still preserving and promoting the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women. At the same time, the contest contributes to improving the "virtue, intelligence, body, and beauty" of female students in particular and young people in general, encouraging students to strive to study, cultivate knowledge, practice morality, live honestly, with determination and dedication.

After 10 years of organization, the contest attracted nearly 10,000 female students from hundreds of universities, colleges, and academies to register to participate. This year alone, the contest received applications from more than 1,000 candidates.
