Female monster scammed 47 billion VND from many people

According to the investigation, Dao defrauded 7 individuals of 47 billion VND and borrowed 42 billion VND from many others for personal use.

On August 15, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Dak Nong Province announced that it had transferred the investigation conclusion to the People's Procuracy at the same level, proposing to prosecute the defendant Nguyen Thi Hong Dao (born in 1990, residing in Dak Wer Commune, Dak R'lap District, Dak Nong Province) for fraud and property appropriation. At the same time, it proposed to prosecute 4 other defendants for lending at high interest rates in civil transactions.

The police are serving the prosecution decisions on Dao.

According to the investigation, to do business, Dao borrowed money from many people at high interest rates. However, the business suffered losses, so Dao fell into debt. To maintain business activities as well as pay interest, from September 2020 to September 2022, Dao provided false information that he was collaborating to repay loans at the bank; had relationships and cooperated in real estate business with many people in positions, needed to mobilize capital for business... Dao offered high interest rates and profits to trick others into lending money. To create trust, Dao forged text messages exchanged with bank officials about borrowing money to repay loans for others...

After borrowing money, Dao used it to pay off revolving debt by borrowing money from one person to pay off principal and interest for another and for personal expenses. Therefore, Dao's debt increased many times over.

According to the investigation, Dao defrauded and appropriated nearly 47 billion VND from 7 individuals. In addition, Dao also owed loans to 28 other individuals with a total amount of over 42 billion VND.

During the investigation, the CSDT Investigation Agency clarified that there were 4 subjects in Dak R'lap district who lent Dao a total amount of 5.7 billion VND with interest rates from 100.26%/year to 200.75%/year, illegally profiting a total amount of nearly 1.2 billion VND.
