How do students across the country celebrate National Day on September 2?

According to the announcement of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and University of Natural Sciences , Ho Chi Minh City National University , the 2025 National Day holiday schedule includes the weekend and 2 National Day holidays (from Saturday, August 30 to Tuesday, September 2).

The school recommends that units have plans to ensure security, order, fire prevention and fighting, and protect agency assets.

At Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry , employees, workers, and students have 2 days off for National Day. The time is from Monday (September 1) to Tuesday (September 2). Thus, if you count Saturday and Sunday of the previous week, the number of days off can be up to 4 days.

During the holiday, the school said that relevant units should plan to be on duty at the agency. The Training Department and training units should arrange make-up classes for the holidays so as not to affect the school's overall training progress.

In a recent announcement, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced that on the occasion of National Day, September 2, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers will have a 4-day holiday, from August 30 to September 2.

Units that do not have fixed days off on Saturdays and Sundays every week must arrange a suitable holiday schedule based on the unit's specific program and plan, but must notify at least 30 days in advance.

For employees who are not cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, employers can choose a holiday option including Tuesday, September 2 and one of two days: Monday (September 1) or Wednesday (September 3) depending on actual production.

Based on the general holiday schedule, students nationwide also have a total of 4 days off (for training facilities with a 2-day weekend off schedule).
