On the morning of August 5, at the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi), nearly 16,000 officers and soldiers from Army and Police units, along with modern weapons and equipment, participated in the second general training session, preparing for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

The comprehensive training session took place under the chairmanship of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee. Also attending and inspecting the training session were Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; leaders and commanders of agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security .

At the training session, the parade groups performed solemn rituals and ceremonies, including: Model cars of the National Emblem, Party flags, national flags, and cars carrying the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh . Next were the forces of the Army, Navy, Air Defense - Air Force, Border Guard, Coast Guard, Armored Vehicles, Communications, Engineering, Chemistry, Logistics, Engineering, Defense Industry, along with the groups of the People's Public Security force and mass organizations.

The highlight is the appearance of modern weapons and equipment systems such as tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, radars, missile complexes, and many specialized equipment in electronic warfare, engineering, and communications...

In addition, the People's Public Security Forces also deployed many modern specialized equipment, such as anti-terrorism combat vehicles, mobile command center vehicles, bulletproof armored vehicles, underwater combat vehicles of the Mobile Police, anti-riot vehicles and multi-purpose combat support vehicles. These equipments represent a step forward in modernization, improving the ability to respond to complex situations, ensuring national security.

Compared to the training session three weeks ago, the units have completely overcome their limitations, training seriously and synchronously. The walking formation ensures precise movements, neat rows, demonstrating military spirit and discipline.

According to the Organizing Committee, from now until the official day, the units will continue to finalize details to ensure that the parade takes place solemnly and magnificently, affirming the strength of national unity and the pride of the Vietnam People's Army and People's Public Security.
