Starting at 8:00 a.m. on July 15, the Thanh Nien Newspaper PES Open 2023 tournament, which gathered nearly 40 participants, took place excitingly and dramatically with many surprises, following the slogan "Unforgettable matches" with attractive "Super classic" and "derby" matches.
Journalist Lam Hieu Dung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Chairman of Thanh Nien Newspaper Trade Union, delivered the opening speech at the 7th PES tournament.
The fact that the top European leagues are on break, coupled with the Vietnamese women's team preparing to participate in the first World Cup in history, further heats up the exciting atmosphere typical of the tournament.

After exciting "derby" matches as well as fiery "super classic" matches, the individual championship belonged to journalist Duc Truong ( Zing ) when he led Atletico Madrid Club to excellently defeat player Quang Huy of Hutech University (PSG Club) with a score of 2-1.
Singer Le Minh of MTV group awarded second prize to the athletes.
With this victory, Duc Truong has also surpassed himself when he won the runner-up position in the 2022 tournament. Zing 's sports writer shared: “I am very happy and happy to achieve this achievement. In the very creative and innovative doubles event of this year's tournament, the duo Le Pham Khoa and Phan Hai, representing the sponsor Van An Phat Real Estate Company, successfully overcame a series of strong pairs from Thanh Nien Newspaper, Tuoi Tre , Zing and other units to be crowned champions.
