Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities announced the admission results according to the direct admission method.

This method is for candidates who won prizes in national excellent student competitions, national science and technology competitions and some other priority subjects according to the regulations of the Ministry.

Candidates need to confirm re-admission online on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training within the prescribed time.

After confirming admission, candidates will be given detailed instructions by the school on official admission procedures, paper application submission, tuition fees and admission plan.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities will recruit 3,899 students for 37 training majors under standard programs and international standard programs.

The school will consider direct admission and give priority to admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Priority is given to direct admission of the best candidates from high schools in 2025 according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University (code 303).

Priority is given to students from 149 high schools according to the list of regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University (code 302).

Priority is given to students who are members of provincial or municipal teams participating in the National Excellent Student Competition or who won first, second, or third prizes in provincial/municipal excellent student competitions; candidates with achievements in social, artistic, and sports activities (code 500).

Admission is based on the results of the National Competency Assessment Exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City in 2025.

The school will convert the entrance threshold between admission methods and admission combinations according to a rule that ensures the equivalence in meeting the entrance requirements of the corresponding training program and major. The entrance threshold conversion rule follows the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City. The admission scores of the methods are converted to a 30-point scale and the highest score is 30 points.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities has expected the floor score for the methods with 100, 302, 303 and 500 to be from 18 to 20 points.

For the method of considering from the assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University, the expected floor score is from 620 or higher.
