On the afternoon of July 16, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, and the Central working delegation had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia acknowledged and highly appreciated the initial results that Nghe An province has achieved in implementing two-level local government.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia assessed that Nghe An is one of the localities that effectively implemented the merger of commune-level administrative units, establishing commune and ward party committees under the province. The province has unified awareness, organized and implemented methodically, creating high consensus in the entire political system and among the people. The organizational apparatus has been streamlined and reasonable; ideological work, organization, and staff arrangement have been deployed synchronously and scientifically; and staff policies have been well resolved. In particular, the province has initially rearranged the staff at the grassroots level in a flexible and timely manner, ensuring the principle of "not leaving the battlefield empty, not causing stagnation, causing difficulties for the people"; ensuring good security and safety; ethnic minorities and religious people all trust, agree with, and actively respond to new policies.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

In the coming time, with a proactive spirit and high morale, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia has oriented a number of key tasks for Nghe An province, especially determined to well implement the Conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat including: Conclusion No. 174-KL/TW on continuing to build the organization and operation of 2-level administrative units; Conclusion No. 177-KL/TW on continuing to build the organization and operation of 2-level administrative units to ensure smoothness and efficiency and Plan No. 56-KH/BCĐ of the Central Steering Committee on summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on continuing to perfect the organization and apparatus of the political system and preparing for Party Congresses at all levels.

Regarding socio-economic development, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia suggested that Nghe An province should continue to focus on closely following the set goals, targets and tasks; in which it is necessary to closely link socio-economic development with ensuring national defense and security; pay deep and practical attention to implementing policies for ethnic minorities, remote areas, border areas, especially policies that are of interest to the people.

Regarding Party Congresses at all levels, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia noted that in the coming time, it is necessary to continue to thoroughly grasp the spirit of proactiveness, timely update and integration of new points in the Central Committee's direction, especially after the upcoming Central Committee Conferences, into the draft political report and related documents. Along with that, personnel work must clearly demonstrate the spirit of innovation and breakthrough in accordance with the requirements of the new term; in which, it is necessary to focus on narrow, specialized fields that need priority for breakthroughs such as: Science - technology, culture, education; subjects that need to be facilitated for development such as young cadres, female cadres, ethnic minority cadres; ensuring that the next generation, successors, have reasonable development according to age, field, gender, and region.

In particular, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission noted that it is necessary to focus on leading and directing the successful organization of the Party Congress at the commune level. The organization process must ensure principles, promote the spirit of solidarity and cohesion within the Party; after the congress, the Party organization must be stronger than before. In addition, it is also necessary to pay attention to a number of contents to well organize the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term and the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized: “The Central Government is oriented towards the province, towards the communes and wards. The province must also be oriented towards the communes and wards. We all must be oriented towards the grassroots, solving problems at the grassroots level” with the consistent spirit and ideology, the top priority is to take better care of the people. Anything directly related to the people must be done wholeheartedly and with all our might; no trouble or harassment; no complaints from the people.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission highly appreciated the efforts, determination and actions of Nghe An province in concretizing the major policies of the Central Government into life. At the same time, he expressed his belief and expectation that Nghe An province would continue to promote its revolutionary tradition, worthy of being the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, to be both a model of cultural development and a national growth pole as General Secretary To Lam expected and advised.
