After merging administrative units, forming 34 new provinces/cities, businesses have more space to develop.
In each new province/city, the largest capitalized enterprises are prominent names, representing the local key economic sectors, from seafood, energy to construction and finance.
A notable point is that all 7 enterprises with the largest market capitalization as of June 30, 2025 are headquartered in Hanoi . This shows the attraction of the capital as an economic and financial center and a gathering place for leading corporations in Vietnam.

Leading the way is the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam ( Vietcombank - VCB) with a capitalization of VND473,768 billion. Next is Vingroup Corporation (VIC) with VND364,327 billion and Vinhomes Joint Stock Company (VHM) with VND316,271 billion.
Other major banks such as BIDV, Techcombank, Vietinbank and VPBank also appeared on the list with capitalization of VND253,471 billion, VND239,852 billion, VND225,271 billion and VND146,219 billion, respectively.
In addition, Viettel Global Investment Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Global - VGI) reached VND 224,025 billion, FPT Joint Stock Company reached VND 173,760 billion and Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) reached VND 156,828 billion.

In Ho Chi Minh City, many large enterprises are also listed with impressive capitalization. Leading the way is the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) with a capitalization of VND214,452 billion.
Following are PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (GAS) with VND158,833 billion, and Masan Consumer Corporation (MCH) with VND133,218 billion. Vietnam Rubber Group (GVR) and Vinamilk (VNM) have nearly equivalent capitalization, reaching VND121,200 billion and VND121,217 billion, respectively.
Other businesses also included in the top include: Masan Group (MSN) with VND 110,465 billion, Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) with VND 109,411 billion, Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) with VND 96,870 billion, Sacombank (STB) with VND 88,040 billion and HDBank (HDB) with VND 76,192 billion.
