Bustling Hanoi Eco-tourism Festival 2023

On the morning of December 9, at Ao Vua eco- tourism area (Tan Linh commune, Ba Vi district), Hanoi Department of Tourism coordinated with Ba Vi District People's Committee to open the Hanoi Eco-tourism Festival 2023 - Ba Vi green experience.

During the festival on December 9-10, the capital's tourism industry and Ba Vi district organized an art program to introduce the unique traditional culture of the Doai region. Specific activities include: performing traditional arts such as folk songs, gong performances, Muong flutes... Organizing folk games imbued with national cultural colors such as o an quan, jumping rope, walking on stilts, smashing pots...

Besides introducing unique cultural features, the capital's tourism festival also promotes tourist attractions of Hanoi.

Specifically, Hong Van ornamental plant craft village tourist site (Thuong Tin district), Ao Vua tourist area, Tan Da mineral spring tourist area, Thien Son Suoi Nga tourist area, Khoang Xanh - Suoi Tien tourist area (Ba Vi district), Dan Phuong Ecological Area tourist site (Dan Phuong district), Hoang Long Ecological Tourist Site (Thach That district) and Long Ho village tourist site (Son Tay town).

During the 2 days of the Festival, there will be many attractive activities for tourists such as the "Eco-destination" check-in area; the booth area promoting eco-tourism and the destination of Xu Doai; the space area for coordinating performances of entertainment activities and national cultural identity.

At the same time, destinations of Xu Doai and travel agencies, tourist destinations introduced eco-tourism products in Hanoi. In addition, artisans from craft villages in Hanoi also introduced craft village products, tourist gifts such as lacquerware, sculptures, rattan and bamboo handicrafts, horn handicrafts, mother-of-pearl inlay, figurines, Thach Xa bamboo dragonflies, and Trang Son fans.

Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said that the 2023 Hanoi Ecotourism Festival - Ba Vi Green Experience is organized to promote Hanoi ecotourism products, contributing to enriching the capital's tourism products, thereby attracting domestic and international tourists to choose Hanoi as a destination. In particular, building the image of Hanoi tourism as a "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive" destination, affirming Hanoi as one of the leading tourist destinations in the region and the world .
