Many famous artists participate in the concert "The Light of Melody"

The concert program “The Light of Melody” organized by the Department of Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, and directed by Ho Guom Theater will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 10 and 11 at Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi.

This is a special art event held to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the inauguration of Ho Guom Theater (July 9, 2023 - July 9, 2025); towards the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); 20 years of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

The concert “The Light of Melody” is where masterpieces of world- famous composers such as Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, Giordano are vividly recreated as stories about the art of opera.

The program is like a miniature painting of the history of world opera. The music leads the audience through many levels: from the romantic, intense Italian style, to the vibrant, vibrant, charming colors of Spanish music , or the majestic, magnificent, yet also delicate, romantic Russian music...

“The Light of Melody” brings together famous voices on the world opera stage. Typical examples include Marcello Alvarez (Argentina) – one of the excellent tenors who is always welcomed by audiences at most prestigious opera houses around the world; or Kathryn Lewek – an American soprano famous for her ability to connect with audiences, captivating stage presence and clear, powerful voice. Along with that is Joseph Calleja (Malta) – one of the most excellent and sought-after lyric tenors today.

In addition to international artists, the program also features the participation of famous Vietnamese artists, such as: People's Artist Bui Cong Duy, Conductor Tran Nhat Minh, artists from the Hanoi Symphony Orchestra, Phuong Nam Choir and Green Wind Choir.

The special concert “The Light of Melody” is an event marking 2 years of operation since the inauguration of Ho Guom Theater. Over the past 2 years, the Theater has been affirming its position as a prestigious cultural and artistic center, a place to honor traditional cultural and artistic values, and at the same time a place to converge, crystallize and spread the quintessence of world art.

The art programs at Ho Guom Theater, with a variety of genres: from musicals, ballets, symphonies to contemporary music live shows..., have brought diverse art experiences, meeting the needs of art enjoyment of the general public, contributing to creating a close and lively musical life for the audience of the capital and people across the country.

Hoan Kiem Theater is also honored to be the venue for many important political and cultural events of national significance with the presence of leaders of the Party, State, central and local departments, ministries and branches.

The theater is also a bridge for cultural and artistic exchange between Vietnam and many countries around the world. Many embassies in Vietnam have chosen Ho Guom Theater to organize important events. Many diplomatic delegations have also come to work and establish long-term relationships for cultural diplomacy activities.
