Since the beginning of the year, the Steering Committee for Family Affairs and the movement “All people unite to build a cultural life” at all levels in the province have focused on maintaining and improving the quality of recognized cultural titles; actively propagating the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on family. Thereby, the movement has achieved many positive results, contributing to raising people’s awareness and responsibility in building prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized families.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has presided over and coordinated with the Provincial Border Guard Command and localities to organize the 2nd National Border Sovereignty Competition in 2025, the 2nd An Giang Provincial Border Color Art Festival in 2025. Deploying the re-examination of the results of implementing the criteria for new rural construction in Binh Phu commune (Chau Phu district), advanced new rural construction in Thanh My Tay commune (Chau Phu district), model new rural construction in the cultural field in Binh My commune (Chau Phu district); assessing the advanced new rural commune in Luong Phi commune (Tri Ton district); examining and evaluating the criteria for new rural communes and the criteria for urban culture - sports in civilized urban wards in Tan Chau town.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Family Affairs and the Movement “All People Unite to Build a Cultural Life” has deployed guidelines for awarding the titles of “Cultural Family”, “Cultural Hamlet, Hamlet”, “Typical Commune, Ward, and Town” in the province. Organized a summary of 25 years of implementing the movement “All People Unite to Build a Cultural Life” in the province, period 2001 - 2026. Distributed 220 banners with propaganda messages about the movement “All People Unite to Build a Cultural Life” and civilized public festivals at grassroots level. Successfully organized the 8th An Giang Province “Happy Family Arts and Culture” Contest/2025 and the discussion “Regulations on penalties for preventing and combating domestic violence”. Organize activities in response to International Day of Happiness March 20, Vietnamese Family Day June 28 and National Action Month on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence (visual decoration, publishing propaganda materials, organizing art programs, etc.).

In An Phu district, the Women's Union (WU) is interested in supporting women to develop comprehensively, build prosperous, progressive and civilized Vietnamese families. The Standing Committee of the District Women's Union directs the Women's Unions of communes and towns to step up propaganda and mobilize women to actively participate in the emulation movement "Building An Giang women of the new era with knowledge, morality, health, responsibility for themselves, their families, society and the country" and the union's campaigns, such as: "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's, contributing to fostering Vietnamese family values"; "Training 4 moral qualities: Confidence, self-respect, loyalty, and responsibility"...

Continue to promote the implementation of the campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean" and "Family of 5 yes, 3 clean" to contribute to the implementation of the National Target Program on new rural construction; register with local Party committees to carry out practical works and tasks to join hands in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. As a result, coordinate with relevant sectors to organize 14 propaganda sessions, with 420 member households and women participating; all 14/14 association bases registered 28 practical activities, suitable for the locality; help 152 disburse loans for clean water, environmental sanitation, hygienic toilets with an amount of 7.6 billion VND...

The District Women's Union organized propaganda and communication on "Children's Law" and skills to prevent and combat child sexual abuse at 14 locations in 14 communes and towns, with 700 members and women participating. A new model of "Supporting women to build healthy families" was established in Phu Huu commune with 30 members. The Women's Unions of communes and towns coordinated with sectors to respond to the "Month of action for food safety" to inspect about 50 times, over 350 establishments and food shops. At the same time, raising awareness for students to choose and use clean food with clear origin and source.
