"Waiting for You" tells the romantic love story of Huong (Thu Huong) and Hung (Huynh That) in a peaceful countryside. However, due to life, social prejudice, and family opposition, their love has to endure many obstacles, leading to separation and loss.
With more than 20 familiar bolero songs, Waiting for someone has brought the audience many emotions, through which the audience not only feels the beauty of simple, innocent love but also shares and sympathizes with the pain and hope of each character.

And most prominently, the audience sees the faithful and profound love of Vietnamese women woven from bolero melodies that have been ingrained in the minds of many generations, along with the expression in modern stage language.
Each song in the play is a piece of the puzzle, telling the journey of love, waiting and the pain of separation. The combination of acting, drama and singing has made the narrative and lyrical quality of the bolero genre more profound, creating many emotions for the audience.

The musical "Waiting for you" has brought the city's public, especially those who love bolero music, interesting experiences on the weekend. Thereby, the program has contributed to bringing new colors to the city's cultural and entertainment activities, which are always vibrant with many diverse and attractive art programs.

The program brings together a group of talented young bolero artists such as Thu Huong, Huynh That, Quynh Trang, Ngoc Huong, Vu Tra, Tam Nguyen, Gia Linh… along with stage actors and professional dancers. Many audiences have long loved the singers in the program, but this is the first time they have seen their favorite singers perform on a big stage.

In particular, the musical Waiting for Someone is also the first program to apply digital technology to traditional art performances by the organizing unit in the new era to bring folk songs, bolero music and many other traditional art forms to a wide audience near and far.
