On the evening of June 20, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province Police said that the functional forces had promptly rescued two victims in a traffic accident that occurred on Phong Chau Street, Vinh Thai Commune, Nha Trang City.
According to witnesses, at around 5:30 p.m. the same day, truck with license plate 79C-170.98 was moving downhill and showed signs of losing control, suddenly crashed into a house by the roadside, collapsing 3 walls.
The collision trapped the truck driver in the cabin, while a man lying in the house was hit by the car and trapped under the front of the vehicle.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department dispatched two rescue vehicles and one fire truck to the scene. The rescue team used hydraulic cutting equipment to break the cabin, safely removing the driver, and towed the truck to reach and rescue the remaining victim.
Both victims were taken to hospital, one of whom was seriously injured.
The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
