Nha Bich meets advanced new rural commune standards

BPO - On the morning of June 10, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nha Bich commune (Chon Thanh town) held a ceremony to announce the decision to recognize the commune as meeting advanced new rural standards. Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Truong Tan Nhat Linh, authorized by the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches, and units and leaders of Chon Thanh town attended the announcement ceremony.

Identifying the construction of advanced new rural areas as one of the key political tasks along with the task of socio-economic development of the locality, with high determination and close leadership of the Party Committee, the government and the consensus of the people, up to now, Nha Bich commune has completed 20/20 criteria of advanced new rural areas, reaching 100% of the plan.

The rural appearance of Nha Bich commune has clearly improved. 100% of commune, village and alley roads have been hardened, more than 39km of asphalt roads, nearly 33km of cement concrete roads. The lighting system has covered 25.39% of the length of main roads. 100% of households have safe, stable and sufficient electricity. Schools, medical facilities , cultural - sports centers, and cultural houses in 7/7 hamlets all meet standards, promoting high efficiency in people's lives. The rate of multidimensional poverty has decreased sharply, the commune no longer has temporary or dilapidated houses. 95% of the commune's population participates in health insurance.

Attention is paid to production development and increasing the value of agricultural products, promoting the effectiveness of economic models. The average income in 2024 will reach more than 85 million VND/person/year. The total resources mobilized from 2021-2024 by Nha Bich is 113.6 billion VND, of which people contributed more than 1.5 billion VND in cash, materials and thousands of working days.

At the same time, the policy of gratitude is well implemented, education and training continue to develop. Economic and social infrastructure is invested and upgraded, social order is ensured, the environment is clean and beautiful, and democratic regulations are promoted. The political system is stable and increasingly strong.
