Former Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang passed away.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the family are deeply saddened to announce:

Comrade Nguyen Minh Quang, born on October 15, 1953, originally from Duc Linh commune, Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh province, former member of the Party Central Committee, 10th and 11th terms, former Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, former Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies, former Permanent Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development , passed away on February 12, 2025 (January 15, At Ty year), at the age of 73.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Quang, with 45 years of Party membership, has made many contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; was awarded the Second Class Independence Medal, the First Class Labor Medal and many other noble titles and awards by the Party and State.

The funeral will be held from 7-9am on Saturday, February 15, 2025 (January 18, At Ty year) at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi .

The memorial service and funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. the same day at the National Funeral Home.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. the same day at Lac Hong Vien Spiritual Park, Tan Lap hamlet, Mong Hoa commune, Hoa Binh city, Hoa Binh province.
