Vietlott winner of over 173 billion VND: I feel normal

Today (November 10), Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) Ho Chi Minh City branch organized the award ceremony for Jackpot 1 and Jackpot 2 prizes of the 951st drawing of Power 6/55 product with a total prize value of more than 176.7 billion VND.

The person awarded is Mr. LHL. Mr. L. won the prize worth more than 173 billion VND. Jackpot 2 worth more than 3.7 billion VND belongs to Mr. LQH. Mr. L. will receive nearly 156 billion VND after deducting 10% personal income tax. Mr. H. will receive a net amount of more than 3.3 billion VND after deducting tax.

Both winners wore masks when receiving their prizes.

At the award ceremony, Mr. L. donated 2 billion VND for social security activities and 300 million VND for single artists.

Sharing his feelings when receiving the prize, Mr. L., the winner of the prize of more than 173 billion VND, said: "At first I was happy to win the prize, but now I feel normal." He said he has been buying lottery tickets for 20 years. Before that, he worked abroad and bought lottery tickets there.

He said he usually buys lottery tickets and chooses numbers based on his wife and children's birth dates, choosing diagonally. However, his winning ticket worth over 173 billion VND was chosen by the machine. Mr. L. said he will use this money to expand his business, help relatives, friends and society, control his money tightly, and not spend it wastefully.
