The final night of Miss Vietnam 2024 featured 25 beauties from many regions of the country. The contestants went through 6 months with many rounds, from preliminary to national final with hundreds of contestants across the country.
The highlight of the Miss Vietnam 2024 final night is the live stage, inspired by the pearl on the surface of the Perfume River and the story of a shining heritage land. The crowned girl continues the mission of the best values of Vietnamese women, expressed through the four pillars of "Beauty - Culture - Intelligence - Dedication".
The jury of Miss Vietnam 2024 includes poet Tran Huu Viet (Head of the jury); journalist Dang Diem Quynh - Deputy Head of the Arts Department of Vietnam Television; architect Hoang Viet Trung - Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center; Miss Vietnam 2022, Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi - Vice Principal of the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
In addition, the contest's Advisory Board includes journalist Le Xuan Son, former Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong newspaper.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Miss Vietnam 2024 final night, journalist Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Miss Vietnam 2024 contest, said that this is the first time the Miss Vietnam final night has been held on the banks of the Huong River in the cultural heritage city.
“This is not only a journey to seek and honor beauty, but also highlights the noble mission, creating and spreading the values of Vietnamese women. That is the beauty of the soul, intelligence, desire to contribute and a kind heart. The crown and scepter are not only a brilliant halo, but also carry a nobler mission - the responsibility and tireless dedication of the new beauty queen,” emphasized journalist Phung Cong Suong.
The first competition was the Ao Dai costume, the contestants performed Ao Dai with the theme "The Red Pearl" based on the idea from the national treasure painting "Spring Garden of Central - South - North" by famous painter Nguyen Gia Tri.
Each contestant was given the opportunity to choose a traditional ao dai style typical of the three regions of North, Central and South from the collection called “Step out from the painting” by designer Song Toan. Besides showing off their charming beauty, the contestants also impressed by calling out their names and hometowns.
After the Ao Dai competition, 25 contestants continued to the swimsuit competition. Combined with the charming and vibrant performance "Dream Lover" by singer Ho Ngoc Ha, the contestants confidently showed off their healthy, youthful and sexy bodies with the bikini collection of the brand Scavi, inspired by the vibrant colors of the flower gardens on both banks of the Huong River.
The final performance of the competition with the appearance of runner-up Trinh Thuy Linh and runner-up Ngoc Hang also left an impression on the audience.
After the swimsuit competition, the top 15 beauties of the contest were announced. These beauties also shined in the evening gown competition.
In gorgeous and luxurious costumes, the contestants also shared heartfelt messages they wanted to spread to the community.
The top 10 contestants were announced and then only 5 excellent contestants participated in the behavioral round, including the beauties: Ha Truc Linh, Nguyen Thi Van Nhi, Ho Ngoc Phuong Linh, Tran Ngoc Chau Anh, Pham Thuy Duong.
Answering the question of whether AI (artificial intelligence) should be applied in learning, beauty Ha Truc Linh said that AI can be applied to improve oneself. However, one still has to constantly improve knowledge, develop thinking and creativity skills to become different and sustainable. Beauty from Phu Yen Ha Truc Linh has excellently won the crown of Miss Vietnam 2024.
Miss Hanoi Tran Ngoc Chau Anh won the title of 1st runner-up, Miss Hai Phong Nguyen Thi Van Nhi won the title of 2nd runner-up.
