Danang residents and tourists line up to receive free movie tickets at DANAFF III

On June 25, the atmosphere in Da Nang became lively before the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III), when hundreds of locals and tourists lined up at Le Do cinema to receive free movie tickets.

Despite the hot weather, many people still waited patiently with excitement, showing the growing appeal of DANAFF III – not only among professionals but also with the general public who love cinema.

According to records, after only one day of release, many screenings were quickly sold out, especially films in the program "Today's Vietnamese Cinema" (except for two documentaries) and all films in the category "Vietnamese Films in Competition".

Deputy Director of the Danang City Cultural and Cinema Center, Mr. Tran Xuan Thang, said: DANAFF III is a large-scale event with more than 100 films and over 200 screenings. It is expected that more than 20,000 tickets will be distributed for free during the event. In addition to indoor theaters, the city also organizes 3 outdoor movie screening locations, with thorough investment in sound, lighting and hygiene, to bring the best experience to the audience.

Due to the positive response from the public, the Organizing Committee has adjusted the ticket distribution time at Le Do theater: morning from 8:30 to 11:30, afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00.
