The intersection of Le Nin Avenue and Hoang Phan Thai Street in Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City is a very heavy traffic intersection. There are no traffic lights here, while the traffic is dense, often causing congestion and potential danger during rush hour.

Faced with that situation, more than a year ago, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee barricaded this intersection with concrete blocks, not allowing people to pass through. People who wanted to cross the street had to move to the intersection of 72-meter road and Lenin Avenue (about 100 meters away), where there were traffic lights to ensure safe passage of vehicles.
However, according to the reporter's records in the past few days, the barrier at the intersection between Lenin Avenue and Hoang Phan Thai Street has had one concrete pillar removed, opening up a small path about 1 meter wide. Many people deliberately went through this point despite being prohibited.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, a resident living nearby, said: This barrier has been set up by the authorities for over a year now, prohibiting people from passing through. However, in the past week, no one knows who has pulled down a concrete pillar to create a path. During rush hours, many motorbikes and bicycles deliberately cross this small path while Lenin Avenue has a very large number of vehicles, which is extremely dangerous...

Through discussion, Mr. Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee said that he had received the information and would coordinate with Vinh City and Nghi Phu Commune to repair the barrier to ensure safety for traffic. In addition, the camera will be checked and extracted to see who removed this barrier to handle it according to regulations.
