The project is chaired by the People's Committee of Son Tay district and approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on December 24, 2021. The University of Agriculture and Forestry ( Hue University) is the unit that supports and transfers technology applications. After 42 months of implementation, the project has fully implemented its contents and objectives and ensured progress. In particular, 04 technical processes have been tested, completed and transferred, including: Process of sustainable propagation, planting, care and harvesting of bamboo shoots; process of producing pickled bamboo shoots; process of producing bamboo shoots with garlic and chili; process of producing vacuum-packed dried bamboo shoots.
The project has also successfully built a model for sustainable bamboo shoot improvement and cultivation on 10 hectares in Son Lien commune (Son Tay). Successfully built 03 food product processing models. Established 01 Bamboo shoot production cooperative; established and effectively operated the chain from cultivation to product consumption, ensuring benefits, legality and sustainability for the participating parties.
At the meeting, the council members analyzed and evaluated the project implementation results and agreed to accept the project by voting according to regulations with satisfactory results. At the same time, they requested the presiding agency to edit, supplement data and complete the report based on the opinions of the council members.
