Digital transformation day and cashless payment application in e-commerce 2025

On June 28, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), Buon Ma Thuot City Entrepreneurs Association and TikTok Shop to organize the program "Digital transformation day and cashless payment application in e-commerce 2025".

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Huu Phuc emphasized that in the current context, the Vietnamese economy is transforming strongly under the wave of digital transformation. E-commerce not only opens up breakthrough growth opportunities for businesses, but also creates profound changes in consumer behavior and modern business methods.

In particular, the application of cashless payment is becoming an inevitable trend, bringing convenience, transparency and safety in transactions. In the e-commerce ecosystem, this payment method is an effective bridge between businesses and customers, helping to improve competitiveness and develop a sustainable market.

Through this program, it will contribute to spreading awareness, promoting and encouraging consumers and businesses to use non-cash payment methods when shopping and making payment transactions; supporting businesses and units in the province to update knowledge, skills to adapt and apply digital transformation and e-commerce solutions to business and sales activities.

Within the framework of the program, many practical activities took place such as: displaying and promoting OCOP products, typical products, typical rural industrial products; experiencing e-commerce and modern payment solutions; training on digital transformation in e-commerce and livestream sales skills on digital platforms; organizing livestream sessions on the TikTok platform to promote and sell nearly 100 typical and typical products of the province.
