The working group inspected the progress of arrangement and organization of apparatus and personnel at the newly merged ward-level administrative units; the preparation of facilities, offices, equipment for the operations of the new agencies and units and the operations of the ward-level Public Administration Service Center (Chau Doc and Vinh Te wards); the installation and inspection of transmission lines and information technology infrastructure for the operation, reception and settlement of administrative procedures; the propaganda and guidance of people on the new administrative procedure transaction locations; the organization of trial operations of agencies and organizations at the new wards, etc.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the leaders of Chau Doc City and the preparatory committee of the two new wards to pay attention to speeding up the repair of the headquarters, arranging parking spaces, seats, and drinking water for the people. On June 22, all 54 new communes and wards in the province simultaneously conducted a trial operation; all cadres, civil servants, and public employees were present at the new unit, organizing meetings of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee... In particular, the Public Administration Service Center was officially put into operation, receiving documents and procedures from the people. After the trial operation, the province will draw experience and make adjustments so that it can officially operate on July 1.
