(GLO)- Compared to yesterday morning's trading session, the domestic gold bar price on July 16 continued to decrease by 500,000 VND/tael, falling below the 121 million VND mark.

According to a survey, after reaching the 121.5 million VND mark a few days ago, the gold price has fallen sharply in the past 2 days. After losing 400,000 VND yesterday, on July 16, gold bars continued to lose another 500,000 VND/tael. Currently, businesses such as Bao Tin Minh Chau, PNJ, SJC, DOJI are listing the two-way buying and selling prices at 118.6-120.6 million VND/tael.

Mi Hong has slightly increased its buying price, currently trading at 119.2 million VND/tael, while its selling price is equivalent to that of domestic enterprises. Phu Quy continues to list a lower buying price than other enterprises, currently at 117.9 million VND/tael.

Similar to gold bars, the price of gold rings also continued to decrease. PNJ is listed at 114.7-117.6 million VND/tael; Phu Quy is 114.6-117.6 million VND/tael; Mi Hong enterprise is listed at 115.2-116.7 million VND/tael. Bao Tin Minh Chau is trading at 115.3-118.3 million VND/tael.

The world gold price this morning was at 3,342.80 USD/ounce. The world gold price generally decreased by 0.42% in the past 24 hours, equivalent to a decrease of 14.15 USD/ounce.

With the domestic gold bar price stable and the world gold price listed at Kitco at 3,342.80 USD/ounce (equivalent to about 106 million VND/tael converted according to Vietcombank exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees), the difference between domestic and world gold prices is about 15.5 million VND/tael.
