As of early September 2023, the outstanding debt of the entire branch reached nearly 4,300 billion VND, an increase of over 5.5% compared to the end of 2022.

According to Mr. Bui Dai Thang, the branch is implementing many solutions to support customers, creating conditions for customers to disburse new loans as soon as possible and promoting credit growth of the entire branch.

The unit is focusing on solutions to promote credit growth, especially in the field of individual customers. According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Head of Retail Customer Department, Vietcombank Ha Tinh Branch, on October 2, 2023, Vietcombank continued to reduce lending interest rates to support customers. Accordingly, lending interest rates for production and business are only from 6%/year and consumer interest rates are only from over 8%/year.

Vietcombank staff proactively visited each customer to advise and provide financial solutions, helping them complete their paperwork in accordance with regulations. Vietcombank also always focuses on simplifying lending procedures and improving appraisal efficiency to increase lending to customers with feasible plans.

On October 2, 2023, Vietcombank Ha Tinh continued to reduce lending interest rates to support customers.

Meanwhile, the joint stock commercial banking sector is also making efforts to "accelerate" to boost outstanding loan growth in the "sprint" of 2023. Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh - Director of Sacombank Ha Tinh said: "Up to now, the unit's outstanding loan growth has only reached 30% of the plan set for 2023. The branch is applying preferential interest rates for customers (from 7% for individual customers borrowing capital for short-term production and business; 8.5%/year for loans to buy, build, and repair houses and real estate)... In addition, Sacombank has set aside 10,000 billion VND for businesses to borrow short-term production and business capital, with interest rates from 5.5%/year. For businesses borrowing medium and long-term production and business capital or needing to borrow to buy cars, Sacombank has implemented a package of 1,000 billion VND with interest rates from 9%/year".

Sacombank Ha Tinh's outstanding loan growth has only reached 30% of the plan set for 2023.

It is known that the credit growth target of the Ha Tinh banking sector in 2023 is to increase by 14 - 16% compared to the end of 2022. However, by August 31, 2023, the total outstanding debt of the whole area only reached 90,473 billion VND, an increase of 4.56% compared to the end of 2022. In the last months of the year, the State Bank of the province continued to direct credit institutions to carry out safe and effective credit growth, focusing on production sectors, priority sectors according to the Government's policies and key projects of the province; strictly control credit in potentially risky sectors. In particular, effectively implementing the interest rate support policies of the Central and the province such as: interest rate support policy of 2%/year according to Decree No. 31/2022/ND-CP of the Government, policy of supporting 50% of loan interest rate according to Resolution No. 51/2021/NQ-HDND of the People's Council of Ha Tinh province, credit package of 120,000 billion VND, preferential credit program for forestry and fishery products (15,000 billion VND)...
