According to statistics, output passenger The total market in the first half of 2025 will reach 41.3 million visitors, an increase of 10% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the international market will reach 23 million visitors, an increase of 13%; the domestic market will reach 18.4 million visitors, an increase of 7%.
Regarding freight transport, total output reached 695.7 thousand tons, up 14.6% over the same period last year. The international freight market alone reached 580 thousand tons (up 17.7%), while the domestic market reached 115.7 thousand tons (up 1.3%).
The number of passengers passing through airports in the first 6 months of the year reached 59.7 million, up 9.1% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors reached 22.9 million (up 12.9%) and domestic visitors reached 36.8 million (up 6.9%).
Regarding goods, the output through airports reached 811.4 thousand tons, up 12.5% over the same period. Of which, international goods reached 580 thousand tons (up 17.7%) and domestic goods reached 231.4 thousand tons (up 1.3%).
Vietnamese airlines transported 28 million passengers in the first six months of 2025, down 7.3% year-on-year. However, the number of international passengers reached 9.6 million, up 8%; domestic passengers remained at 18.4 million, up 7%.
Regarding freight, airlines inland reached 223.6 thousand tons, up 6.2% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international goods reached 108 thousand tons (up 12.1%) and domestic goods reached 115.7 thousand tons (up 1.3%).
These positive figures show the recovery and stable growth of Vietnam's aviation industry after a period affected by the pandemic and global fluctuations, especially in the international transportation sector.
