Sharing about his impressive exam results, Canh Tung said he felt happy, but also considered himself somewhat lucky. The humble male student admitted that his studies were "very average". His score of 10 in specialized math in the entrance exam to a specialized school will be a motivation for him to continue to try harder during his high school years.
Tung's goal in the coming years is to focus on studying math, so that he can participate in the national math competition.
In addition, I will spend more time learning foreign languages, playing sports , developing soft skills, improving life skills, to prepare for bigger goals in the future.
Tung said that every day, he spends a lot of time on self-study. Before the transfer exam, he only went to extra math and literature classes, the total number of extra classes per week fluctuated from 3-4 sessions. In addition, he focuses on spending time on self-study, creating mind maps to organize and systematize his knowledge.
Introduce values \u200b\u200bcomfort and joy in the learning process. When he encounters a difficult problem, if he cannot think of a solution even after sitting and thinking about it for nearly half an hour, he will stop to do something else, then return to the difficult problem after he feels more comfortable.
Tung realized that everything only achieves the best results when we do it in a relaxed state of mind. For him, the effective learning method is to find a balance, not too stressed, not too pressured.
Talking about his love for math, Tung said he realized he loved math since grade 3. He considers himself lucky because throughout his journey of studying from primary school, he has always met teachers who gave him the motivation to study math, helping him increase his love for math over time.
For Tung, passing the transfer exam with good results is a milestone for him to try harder.
According to Tung, each exam has its own meaning to help students clearly identify who they are. At the same time, exams are also an opportunity to help students find a suitable learning environment. Tung always considers each exam as an important milestone to look back on his learning and growing journey.
Although exams have certain pressures, seeing them as a milestone in maturity always helps me see the "cute" side and the meaning of each exam in my student memories.
The art of “breaking down” goals to motivate yourself
During his studies, Tung did not set himself too high goals. He did not want to put pressure on himself. He believed that setting goals was to encourage himself to improve every day.
Therefore, I avoid setting goals that are too big, then make myself feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and lose the simple joy of studying. Tung likes to break big goals into small goals, slowly achieve each small goal and get closer to his dreams.

In addition, in order not to feel pressured in studying, Tung focuses on spending time playing sports regularly. He believes that finding fun for himself is very important for good, balanced development. Tung loves basketball, he plays basketball quite well and has been called to the team of several basketball clubs for teenagers.
Tung said he wants to develop himself comprehensively: study well, play sports well, have diverse soft skills, have good life skills, and know how to handle himself in many situations.
The teenager said that through each stage, he sets goals for himself to practice certain skills. Currently, he practices cooking and programming skills. He considers practicing multiple skills a pleasure in his journey to adulthood.
Don't like to "win or lose", make friends with good people to learn and progress together.
As a student in a math class with all good students, Tung said he and his classmates were taught about healthy competition early on by homeroom teacher Nguyen Dac Thang.
To avoid the fierce competition that damages student friendships, Mr. Thang - the math teacher of class 9A - always reminds his students: "When you step out into the big world, you will have to face many big opponents.

So, while we are still studying together in this same class, let's love each other, work hard to study and improve together to achieve success.
Let's build a united team and work together to achieve that goal."
Applying the homeroom teacher's advice on healthy competition, Tung always proactively makes friends who are better than him. He hopes that friends can support each other, based on each person's strengths.
Tung openly asked and asked for support in the knowledge he was not as good at as his friend.
On the contrary, I am also willing to support you in areas of knowledge that I have a better grasp of than you.
Tung proudly shared that his class, with all 29/29 members passing the entrance exam to specialized schools in the 10th grade entrance exam, is a group of solidarity, always ready to help each other to progress together, to "reach the finish line" together.
Ms. Nguyen La Soa - mother of male student Nguyen Canh Tung - said that Tung's studies are completely self-organized. The family has focused on training Tung to be self-disciplined in studying and living since he was young. After that, the family put their trust in him, letting him be proactive in many things.
Tung's passion for mathematics is also a good motivation for the teenager's journey to adulthood. In a very natural way, Tung always knows how to arrange his study schedule and daily activities very scientifically and effectively, so that he can simultaneously achieve many goals that he sets for himself on his journey to adulthood.
