Despite many difficulties, the German team finally won 3-0 against the Vietnamese women's volleyball team on the evening of August 25, thereby officially securing a ticket to the round of 16 after 2 wins in Group G, the 2025 World Volleyball Championship in Thailand.
Evaluating the victory of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, coach Giulio Cesare Bregoli of the German team said: "There were two key points that helped us win against the Vietnamese team. Firstly, we served well, forcing the Vietnamese women's volleyball team to pass the ball far from the net, leading to the inability to play fast and play good tactics.

The second is to diversify the type of serve. For example, in the first set of the match against the Vietnamese volleyball team, the Polish team had difficulty with the short serve. We saw the first match, so we had an advantage. Therefore, the German team was ready to deal with the opponent's tactics, and we also started the first step very well, so everything became easier."
Regarding the performance and results of the German team in the tournament up to this point, the Italian strategist said that blocking and serving are two things that his team has done well. The German team's good performance in terms of skills also helps the team avoid psychological stress.

As for the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team, after two losses, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team have no chance of advancing. However, Thanh Thuy and her teammates still have one more important match against Kenya. This is a match that the Vietnamese girls are determined to win.
"The goal of Vietnamese women's volleyball is to have a victory at this world championship," said coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet.
The match between the Vietnamese women's volleyball team and Kenya will take place at 5:00 p.m. on August 27 in Phuket, Thailand.
